Julie, I have a couple more chapters to read of "The Opposite of Love". I have enjoyed reading it so much that I hate for it to end. I have laughed and cried with Emily, Kate and Andrew. Your characters are so real and 'down to earth.' You can really identify with them. You have such a wonderful way of telling the story. I am so glad I stumbled across this book and look forward to reading "After You" next. Keep up the good work!

I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed reading both of your books, I read them both in about two days and could not put them down. All of my girlfriends are now raving about them as well! I'm really looking forward to your next book!

Julie, I wanted to wish you a Happy Birthday! I have a soft spot on my heart for your beautiful book, "After You", not only because it's a beautifully written and a compelling story but it was also my first review ever as a blogger (I hope this wasn't too much to your detriment). I couldn't have hoped to be provided a more engaging and enjoyable as well as poignant book to read and review. "After You" made me laugh, made me tear-up, made me smile and I was able to lose myself in Ellie and Sophie's story. Thank you! I've kept my ARC copy and periodically read passages! Happy Birthday & best wishes for a wonderful year! ~ Amy

I have never written to an author after finishing a book, and I am a voracious reader and have many favorites. But the Opposite of Love was.I don't even know how to phase this other than it felt like someone had broken into my head and published it into a book. I too lost my mother at a young age and had a loving but emotionally distant father and a grandmother who acted as both mother/father to me, and I love her more than anyone in the world. If she needed my kidney, heart, soul I would give it to her. Reading this book made me feel like someone actually understands what it feels like to feel lost, defensive and protective, while at the same time craving for someone to really understand and stand beside you. The best book I have ever read, it has touched me in profound ways that I cannot even begin to express. Thank you.
